Robin is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Educator. She works in two main branches of Massage: Health Maintenance / Relaxation massage, and Peri-operative Medical massage.

Her Health Maintenance massage is a combination of Swedish, Shiatsu, and Deep Tissue massage with focus on key trigger points, and Shiatsu/Acupressure points. Specific styles can be requested singularly as well.

Peri-operative medical massage, and Massage Cupping TM are synergistic post-operative therapy applications (regardless of time-frame after an operation). These modalities are applicable to clients who have received any surgical procedure. This modality incorporates a fusion of techniques combined for different stages of recovery, such as Lymphatic Drainage massage for swelling reduction, and Myofascial reorganization to reduce adhesions. Massage Cupping TM aids in the smoothing of surgical scarring. Cupping can also be applied to a Health Maintenance massage as it provides benefits of Lymphatic drainage, as well as addressing chronic injury and pain management.

Robin enjoys bringing all that she has learned to her massage, while listening to specific needs of her clients. She works diligently to bring each individual to a state of balance whenever possible, using massage, suggestions and references to complimentary practitioners, products and lifestyle adjustments.

Robin continues to attend seminars and continuing education classes to remain current in areas of massage and health. Her genuine interest in balance for all drives this constant quest for the most applicable techniques currently available to be incorporated into her practice for her client's highest benefit.

About Peri-Operative Massage

Physiologically, massage therapy increases circulation bringing oxygen and nutrients to traumatized tissues. This type of stimulus will help reduce bruising, swelling, lymph edema (a type of swelling), scarring and help with neuro-muscular re-education.

Psychologically, massage therapy will help you feel supported throughout your entire recovery process, reducing feelings of depression and anxiety.

Your body is an entire unit not just a sum of the parts! When you have a tummy tuck, for instance, the rest of your body experiences the experience too. Your Soulstice therapist will also focus on your secondary areas of pain and dysfunctions as it relates to your surgical procedure.
